The Grawemeyer Award For Ideas Improving World Order is presented annually to the winner of a competition designed to stimulate the recognition, dissemination and critical analysis of outstanding proposals for improving world order.

2013 Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order recipients, Erica Chenoweth and Maria Stephan, will deliver a public lecture centered around their award winning book ‘Why Civil Resistence Works: The Strategic Logic of Nonviolent Conflict. Thursday, April 11 at 2:00pm in the Chao Auditorium at Ekstrom Library on UofL’s Belknap campus.
